Driver wanted for day route in Akron. Delivery driver experience not needed but is a plus. Start ASAP! Route goes out 3 times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), varies between an average of about 130-220 miles a day depending on the route and stops per day. Deliver parts to dealerships along a dedicated route. This is a 1099 contract position. You will be responsible for your own taxes. You will use your own vehicle to courier the parts. You need a fuel efficient car or mini-van that gets 25+mpg and has sufficient trunk or cargo space.
Specific Requirements: Must be 21 or older. Able to start work immediately. Able to lift up to 70 pounds. Self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision with great attention to detail. Good communication skills.Additional Requirements:This position requires you to make deliveries of auto parts in your own car. Drive a fuel efficient vehicle (25+MPG) with suitable trunk or cargo space. Must have GPS in your vehicle or on your phone. Must carry a minimum of 100/300K liability insurance on your vehicle. Have a good driving record- NO DUI/DWIs. Must pass a criminal background check and be able to pass a drug test.
