2nd Shift: M-Th 2:30pm-12:30amThe Machine Operator will be responsible for processing mesh fabric material into semi-finished and finished products by performing slitting, cutting, stapling, and assembly techniques safely and efficiently.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesScan work orders and read instructions to understand product specifications, run quantities, component configurations, and raw material requirements.Perform slitting functions by selecting and loading raw material rolls, positioning blades in proper sequence and spacing, attaching slit ends to cardboard tubes, running the slitter/rewinder, and cutting material to specified lengths.Operate klicker/guillotine cutters by setting machine parameters, selecting appropriate carton sizes, attaching pre-print labels, sealing cartons, and stacking finished product on pallets.Operate mold press equipment by loading materials, unloading finished products, trimming, stacking, and packing cups as required.Perform assembly operations including rolling, folding, applying multiple components, and stapling using foot-activated industrial staplers or modifying components using band saws, drill presses, or table saws.Complete work order documentation by recording material usage, parts produced, rejected material, and job completion using bar code scanners.
