DescriptionBegin an exciting career in the Construction/Contractor industry as a Human Resources Assistant through OfficeTeam. This passionate Human Resources Assistant will be in charge of a wide variety of responsibilities, including owning a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This short-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity is with a company in the Construction/Contractor industry and is based in the Barberton, Ohio area.Major responsibilitiesExplore the internet to track down potential customers
Organize new employee on-boarding orientation methods
Update employee database logs
Manage a number of administrative duties
RequirementsAble to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
Strong communication and social skills
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Personnel file maintenance experience highly desired
Expertise in Document Scanning
Adeptness in internal communications
New employee orientation experience preferred
Proficiency in HR compliance
Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Skilled with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
