Network Engineer

Description Robert Half is seeking a talented Network Engineer with knowledge of networking hardware and software. Do you have a strong knowledge of Internet protocols, interfacing, security, server, and network infrastructure? Then we cannot wait to receive your application for this Network Engineer role. This long-term contract to hire Network Engineer position is located in the Barberton, Ohio area.Your responsibilities in this role

Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods

Initiate and manage network test facilities

Provide top-notch support and thorough expertise in networking technology like hubs, bridges, hardware and routers

Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks

Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks

Requirements - Networking experience

Command of Palo Alto Networks

Palo Alto Firewall experience desired

Demonstrated knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting

Strong familiarity with Active Directory

SQL experience

Adeptness in Cloud engineering

Practical knowledge of Hardware Troubleshooting

General familiarity with Basic Troubleshooting

Hyper-V experience highly desired

Network Troubleshooting experience highly preferred
