Description Friendly boutique firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney specifically in the areas of Employment Litigation and Personal Injury Defense. The Associate will be responsible for representing various entities, handling a caseload, assisting senior attorneys, and participating in various legal procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a laid-back office environment that values flexibility and mentorship.Responsibilities:
Represent school districts, municipalities, and other public agencies in employment defense cases.
Assist senior attorneys in various legal tasks such as law and motion, interviewing witnesses, and answering discovery.
Manage a caseload of 10-15 cases, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
Make appearances on behalf of the firm and its clients in various legal settings.
Defend depositions, ensuring the best interests of our clients are maintained.
Meet with witnesses to gather necessary information for ongoing cases.
Handle billable tasks in an efficient manner, ensuring all tasks are accurately recorded and billed.
Participate in and benefit from the firm's training and mentorship programs.
Utilize skills in Employment Law - Employee, Arguing Motions, and Depositions in the day-to-day duties of the job.
Collaborate with a team of 3 junior attorneys, contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.

Hold an active license as an Attorney.
Minimum of one year of experience as an Associate.
Demonstrable knowledge and application of Employment Law - Employee.
Proven experience in Arguing Motions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficient in legal research and writing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Excellent negotiation skills.
