PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Sets up and operate a variety of heat treating equipment and auxiliary equipment, examines problems, makes minor machine repairs and adjustments, responsible for inventory moves in SFI and SAP.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Receives instructions, directions and work assignments from Lead Manufacturing, Supervisor, or Manager. Provides casual assistance to other employees new to the assignment.

Firewatch of building and equipment.

Patrols assigned production lines to see that furnaces are operating properly, performs quality checks, and to make minor adjustments.

Notifies Lead Manufacturing Associate, Supervisor or Manager of malfunctions or needed major repairs.

Maintains quality product flow of work produced.

Assist Lead Manufacturing Associate and support personnel in making repairs as necessary. Performs minor machine maintenance.

Performs miscellaneous duties such as filling in standard forms, procuring tools, lubricating machines, and keeping tools, equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Retrieves and enters information from/into various computer systems, such as SAP, SFI and SPC.

EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years work experience in manufacturing environment or related education.

Technical or mechanical background.

Proven record of reliable attendance, strong work ethic and team skills.

Demonstrated strong math and mechanical skills.

Must have high school or general equivalency diploma (GED)

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
