Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Collection Agent to join our team. The Collection Agent will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability of our dealership by effectively managing accounts and assisting customers with their financial obligations. Responsibilities:
Contact customers with overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and inquiries related to their accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records.
Monitor and manage delinquent accounts and implement appropriate collection strategies.
Work closely with the finance department to resolve customer issues.
Utilize collection software and tools to track and manage accounts.
Assist in identifying accounts that may require additional legal action.
Prepare reports on collections activities and results.
Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations regarding collections and debt recovery.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in collections or a related financial role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
Familiarity with collection software and tools is a plus.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in debt collection.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
