Hankins Custom Rifles, LLC. is a fast-growing company looking for the right person to join our team. This position is part time/full time depending on the employee’s choice. This job position will require the successful new hire to be able to draw parts using cad cam systems from start to finish, then generate tool path, transfer to the machines, machine the parts and check for quality control. You will also need to machine all the fixtures needed to hold these parts, make set up sheets and log tool data.
We currently have 5 CNC machines in house, you would be responsible for programing these machines and instructing others to operate them. Your main job function here would be to design and set up machines, and occasionally run production parts. Our current machines in house are Mazak QT250MSY lathe, Ganesh 4 axis mill with Mitsubishi control, two Ganesh lathes with Fagor control and one Cubic gang tool lathe with Fagor control and bar feeder.
We do provide a controlled environment, A/C in the summer and Heated in the winter.
Skills and Qualifications:
Cad/Cam experience
CNC programming and setup experience
Knowledge of G-code and M-code
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize work

The hours are flexible, we have first, second and third shifts available, you can choose the hours you want to work, and we will schedule the work around you. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious person to design and manufacture high quality gun parts. Ability to think outside the box. Come up with new ideas for design and manufacturing of these parts. Proper set up of machines and machine maintenance.
You can choose to work 4 hours a day (part time) or 8 hours a day (full time). Weekend work is also available but not required. Starting pay would be up to $25.00 an hour with a yearly earning potential of $85,000.00 plus. This will depend on your skill level and proficiently.
Full time employees will receive 2 weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment. One week of paid sick leave per year, carry over up to three weeks of paid time off.
