This position is responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the Facility and Streetcar station stops.$17.27/hour with annual increases Full benefit package available after 90 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, & 401KKey Responsibilities:

Supports Transportation staff in response to stations and streetcars

Clean facility and station stops, including sweeping, mopping, trash, ect.

Keep the facility clean including restrooms and grounds

Adheres to all safety and organizational rules, policies, and procedures

Ensures equipment/facility availability requirements are consistently met

Supports the Streetcar Vehicle and Wayside working groups whenever required

Reports all accidents, incidents, or unusual transit occurrences and accurately completes all required reporting

Other duties as required

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Qualified to drive and possess a valid State driver’s license in good standing

Relevant training or certification in building or equipment maintenance is preferred

Experience:

Two years’ experience a related field is preferred. Equivalence of experience and education will be considered.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Must have good oral and written communications skills

Must be able to work amid constant interruptions, prioritize and deal with time pressured deadlines and be able to clearly communicate during such occasions

Must be motivated, and have the ability to receive instruction and the ability to handle crisis and conflict situations.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must submit and successfully pass drug testing, criminal background check and verification of previous employment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass periodic random drug/alcohol screenings as this is a safety sensitive position

Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules, including weekends as needed

This position requires the wearing of a uniform

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of conditions (e.g. weather, rain, dust, noise, heat, cold)

Job requires standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and walking throughout the shift

Must handle parts and equipment ranging from 10 to 50 lbs.
