Software Configuration Engineer

GENERAL FUNCTION:


As a member of an agile squad, responsible for implementing new features and enabling


capabilities using modern software engineering tools and practices. Adheres to practices and


standards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.


Shares responsibility and accountability for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions,


elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Doing the right


thing for customers and colleagues ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

. Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software


. Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a


developer on an agile squad


. Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in


code reviews, and sharing knowledge


. Remain current on relevant technology trends


. Participate in researching and resolving customer issues


. Other duties as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY: The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for configuration, management, and maintenance of endpoints throughout AtriCure, including Windows and Apple-based desktop and laptops along with mobile devices. The position drives the configuration and use of automation tools. Through creating and enforcing policy and automating software deployments, the Endpoint Engineer establishes a streamlined user experience while adhering to cybersecurity policies and vendor licensing agreements. The position identifies and troubleshoots issues with new hardware or software deployments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Packaging software for automated deployment to endpoints Testing hardware and software for compatibility and performance issues and making recommendations based on findings Ensuring optimal performance of end-user desktops Using Microsoft Intune to implement and enforce policies for device compliance and security. Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Intune deployments Maintaining comprehensive documentation for configuration, process, and troubleshooting.
