Description We are in search of a diligent Contracts Manager to join our team in the service industry, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling legal documents related to acquisitions, working closely with multiple teams, and ensuring smooth contract processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in construction and contracts.Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales and operations teams, and customers to negotiate contracts within our standard legal requirements. Review and approve Customer Credit for installation/construction contracts, occasionally negotiating custom payment terms. Ensure customers receive all required documentation and respond to any additional documentation requests. Provide training to new salespersons on the Contracts Process. Assist salespeople with job-specific Customer Portals. Support Accounts Receivable with collection on Installation/Construction invoices and lien waiver preparation. Collaborate with the President to prepare and modify acquisition agreements and related documents. Prepare Warranty Documents upon completion of jobs. Review Bid Documents and secure Payment/Performance Bonds as required. Work with an external vendor to preserve Mechanics’ Lien Rights on jobs when necessary. Requirements Must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field. Higher qualifications would be advantageous. Proven experience in a contracts manager role within the service industry, ideally with exposure to construction contracts. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a variety of contracts and resolve complex contractual issues. Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence and communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external parties. Proficient in using various contract management software and tools. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong understanding of contract law and legal requirements related to contracts. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must adhere to ethical standards and demonstrate professional integrity. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Must be willing to continuously update skills and knowledge in response to industry advancements.
