When you join our team you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of patients and their families worldwide.How will you make an impact?Provides support to maintain regulatory compliance to environmental, health and safety and provide EHS support to construction activities on the Cincinnati, OH site. This individual will work with all Thermo Fisher Scientific employees and contractors on-site to ensure processes are in place and implemented to help reduce risks and help ensure construction activities are completed in a safe and timely manner.What will you do?

Proactively look for opportunities to improve our EHS programs and influence employees to do the same

Support day-to-day operations at the site as a member of the safety team and all EHS related activities for maintenance, engineering, and contingent workers

Capture and maintain monthly EHS data for analysis and reporting across the Engineering Department

Assist various Departments in the creation of Hazard Assessments

Actively participate in area Safety Committees and engage with Safety Champions

Perform or participate in EHS inspections/audits when needed

Own the lockout and machine guarding procedures for the safety program

Lead accident/incident investigations

Develop, coordinate, and facilitate training to educate employees on safety regulations and requirements pertinent to the site

Maintain regulatory paperwork for various agencies as required

How will you get here?Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Occupational Safety and Health or related field

Minimum of one year of experience working in a EHS position

Experience

Construction safety experience is preferred

Safety Certified Professional, National Safety Council MESH, OSHA, NCDEQ or Advance Safety Certificate is preferred

Experience with biological/pharmaceutical manufacturing is desired with experience collecting, trending and reporting data

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge and understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to work environment as well as other regulatory requirements including NFPA, ASHRAE, DOT, EPA, building and fire codes, etc.

Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and FDA/industry expectations.

Knowledge and understanding of local/state requirements

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with associated officials and regulatory agents.

Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure while multi-tasking and remain results oriented.

Effective time management and prioritization skills.

Strong team member who works well with others.

Ability and desire to learn biological/pharmaceutical processes and associated EHS requirements.

The role requires a highly organized, exceptional problem solver who is detailed oriented. Job Duties: Will provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels. Will be responsible for addressing inquiries from borrowers regarding their escrow accounts, including how funds are being allocated and any changes in escrow payments. Will assist borrowers with questions related to their mortgage payments, such as payment amounts, due dates, and payment methods. Will respond to inquiries from borrowers about their Form 1098 mortgage interest statement, including how to access it, understanding the information provided, and any discrepancies. Responsible for providing guidance to borrowers on the process for removing PMI once they have reached the required equity threshold, including required documentation and steps to initiate the removal process. Assist borrowers with questions related to loan modifications, including eligibility criteria, application process, and potential impacts on their loan terms, & partial releases. Will address inquiries from borrowers about their property title, including understanding title documents, resolving title issues, and coordinating with title companies as needed. Responsible for assisting borrowers with inquiries related to filing insurance claims for property damage covered by their homeowners insurance policy, including providing guidance on the claims process and required documentation. Will provide borrowers with copies of their payment history or loan statements for their records or for documentation purposes. Will process requests from borrowers to obtain a payoff amount for their mortgage loan, including providing the necessary payoff statement and coordinating with other parties involved in the transaction, such as title companies and closing agents.
