    Job Overview: A hospital Lead Pharmacy Technician is a healthcare professional who plays an integral role in the pharmacy operations. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the pharmacy technician assists the pharmacist in the distribution of medications to patients in the hospital (inpatient and outpatient units, emergency room, and operating room). Selects the appropriate medications and accurately labels the medications, and all skills related to non-sterile and sterile compounding.
