The OBSCU is a Level IV Maternity Unit that serves a diverse patient population and wide range of diagnoses throughout patients\' pregnancies, including but not limited to diabetic management, cardiac complications such as cardiomyopathy, preterm labor, preeclampsia, and more.

UC Health is hiring a Nurse Clinician (RN) LVAD Coordinator for the Surgery-Perfusion Department for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The LVAD Coordinator will work with a multidisciplinary team five days a week/eight hours a day with some flexibility as needed. This role is all cardiac based. This position requires call. Call is divided between the other LVAD coordinator and is scheduled two weeks at a time. Call is M-F 3pm-7am and 48 Hours for the weekends. Call consists of taking phone calls and answering questions, however, a couple times a year you are requested to come in physically during call time.
The LVAD Coordinator is responsible for both inpatient and outpatient settings. After implantation of device, the LVAD coordinator will provide education to the patient and their families. In addition, they will then travel to the facility where their patient is located (nursing home, rehab etc) The coordinator will also provide education to the staff at the facility and prepare them in how to manage the patient\'s care.
