Utilize rate range provided in the posting DESCRIPTION: Owns the decision rights on technology platform choices including platform identification and evaluation including compliance Responsible for discovery of new technology and its applicability and relevance to the company Interfaces with clients SME's on technical matter and is responsible for technical accuracy to the company's architecture Leads implementation and deployment of the architectural choice in a way that's actionable and relevant Reviews application architecture for compliance to company policy, standards and best use of standard technologies Has several years of experience in the defined software language Performs analysis and design of data models and software specifications Responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans Participates in technical systems development and performs research to design development standards Ability to provide insights into an enterprise-wide architecture strategy that can meet both current needs, but also has the flexibility to scale and adapt to future business requirements Coordinates with information security teams to ensure application security through vulnerability analysis and risk assessment Applies software design theories and principles in researching and designing software interfaces Should be able to independently lead simple to medium complexity engagements Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts Provide technical support and leadership on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications SAP environment changes to include but not limited to the following: o SAP Landscape Management o Transport Version including dual maintenance control o IaaS Tuning, Hypervisor AdministratorTechnical Troubleshooting, Upgrade and Patching, Code Optimization, Performance analysis EDUCATION: Bachelors B.E./ B.Tech / BCA; Masters M.Tech / MCA; Computer Science specialization highly desirable CERTIFICATIONS: TOGAF or similar certifications EXPERIENCE: Proficient in SAP technology stack. 8+ years of applicable hands-on experience in SAP Platform and technology experience In-depth understanding of core IT infrastructure concepts: data centers, security, networking, storage, compute, and software applications. Knowledge of emerging HANA ecosystem and associated architecture. Should have experience with: o Technology stack for SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP HANA, SLD, Process Orchestration (PO), Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, Solution Manager. o SAP BASIS tasks such as Designing & Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, OS/DB Migration, Solutions, and Basis Administration o Experience with SAP Global ECC, J2ee, S/4, BW, implementations, executing EHP upgrades SOFT SKILLS: Hands On, Output Focus, Attention to Detail, Communication, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Functional/Domain SME, Analysis, Project Planning & Execution, Leadership, Strategy Focus
