Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Entry/Sales Support Specialist to join our client's team in the Greater Cincinnati area. This role will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, providing exceptional support to our sales team, and ensuring smooth operations within our sales department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing: Efficiently and accurately enter customer orders into the company's system while ensuring all information is complete and correct.

Customer Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order inquiries, product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels.

Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide administrative support, including preparing sales documents, generating quotes, and assisting with sales-related activities.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.

Problem Resolution: Address any issues or discrepancies related to orders, pricing, or product availability in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues as needed.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and order status. Generate reports as needed to track sales performance and support decision-making processes.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline order processing procedures and improve overall efficiency within the sales department.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support roles is highly desirable.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
