From corporate campuses to single sites, EFS provides a range of services that support mission-critical areas of financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, and education sectors.Job Title: Project ManagerJob Summary:The Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of all assigned projects, from initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Projects associated with EFS are frequently associated with the transition of new business opportunities, process improvement and development and projects associated with the implementation of best practices and processes for existing business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Managing teams of colleagues assembled from various groups (who will not have a direct reporting relationship to the Transition Project Manager), and providing updates to Company executives and clients.Developing the scope of and planning for retained and new clients across EMCOR Facilities Services (“EFS”) to include the Cincinnati, Norristown and the Phoenix offices. Specific tasks include gathering data, quantitative and financial analysis and summarizing findings in an actionable report and/or presentation to customers and internal stakeholders.Assessing company processes and providing recommendations for improvement. Specific tasks include assessing and articulating the “current state”, analyzing opportunities for improvement, documenting and articulating recommended improvement, gathering support for and implementing new or improved processes.Management of assigned projects from initiation to closing, including the development and maintenance of all project documentation, providing status updates (quantitative and qualitative) along the way to Company executives.Developing and growing strong relationships across the organization and at all levels within the organization.Qualifications:EducationBachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as Economics, or an Engineering field such as Industrial Operations) from an accredited college or equivalent. Equivalent education could include a technical trade school and five or more years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection and all areas of facility management and technical systems.Business ExperienceFive to seven years of experience in a Project Management environment influencing change indirectly with team members who do not have a reporting relationship to the role.Licenses/CertificationsMust possess a valid driver’s license. Prefer candidates with an active membership in an accredited facilities or project management institute or association. PMP or CAPM certification preferred.Language SkillsStrong written and verbal command of the English language.Technical Qualifications & SkillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project. Knowledge and understanding of CMMS systems helpful, but not required. Knowledge of building mechanical systems a plusProject Management Skills, including effective management of teams, and stakeholders.Familiarity with mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection and all areas of facility management and technical systems.Ability to influence change with colleagues who do not have a reporting relationship to you.Attention to detail and time management, as well as effective meeting managementAbility to read technical drawingsProblem solving skillsStrong public speaking skillsAssertive management style.Notice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings. Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of project management including: supporting pursuits and attending interviews for pursuits, client management, project scope development, project planning, organizing, change management, inter-discipline coordination, production coordination, team leadership, financial management, project quality control and delivery. Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables. Oversee the production of plans and specifications for design projects for stormwater conveyance and industrial stormwater treatment facilities. Be recognized as a credible leader with strong technical experience related to the support of environmental, stormwater and water/wastewater projects. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or like degree with relevant experience is required. Minimum of 7 years\' experience in environmental/water resources engineering consulting for local government/municipal clients. Experience working with conveyance, distribution, pumping and treatment Experience working with storage a plus P.E. licensure is required. Must be exceptional in written and oral communication, with the ability to lead, develop and deliver highly persuasive presentations that build client confidence and result in securing favorable environmental and stormwater design contracts. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and potential application to clients\' needs required. Proven experience in developing project plans, anticipating and addressing project issues, leading meetings with clients, and directing the completion of technical reports and designs.
