If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Network Monitoring for a six-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus organization.Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks to support existing systems and fulfill ad-hoc requests for monitoring, reporting, and emergency issues

Work closely with senior team members to identify, recommend, implement and support custom system and application monitoring opportunities to pinpoint issues before they cause an outage or reduce downtime when failures occur

Maintain up to date knowledge of new hardware and software developments; assist with alternative approaches to recommend new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities.

Develop and maintain process and procedure documents

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of recent experience working with Network monitoring using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) or Server Application Monitor (SAM), NTA, NCM, Storage Manager

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

Scripting skills in Perl, PowerShell, and UNIX with the ability to develop SQL queries and procedures is preferred

Strong technical skills in Windows server operating systems, as well as other related disciplines such as Database (Oracle/MS SQL Server)

Basic knowledge of Windows Server Administration

Functional knowledge of server technology, for Windows, VMWare, and Solaris and also with the deploying and administration of the MS System Center product; experience in monitoring and alerting critical business applications, encompassing APM, infrastructure, network, and hardware
