We are currently hiring for drivers for our Production Kitchen facility.
Main Job Duties include but may not be limited to:
- Shows up on time and ready to go at 6 am
- Inspects and cleans out refrigerated van on each shift
- Monitors the refrigerated vans need for fuel and service
- Operates refrigerated van safely and in compliance with all laws
- Interacts positively with co-workers, drivers, retail employees and managers, and other partners under a variety of conditions and circumstances.
- Loads perishable products into the refrigerated van and ensuring all products are accounted for, secured, and organized for transport
- Transports perishable products from production facilities to retail & food service outlets
- Unloads perishable products from the refrigerated van and transports safely to retail & food service outlets
- Labels perishable products for sale by weighing them on a scale (for retail outlets only)
- Placing labeled products in retail cold cases for sale per location planogram
- Sifts through retail cold case products to determine if any items are out of date
- Places stores orders based on reporting provided through a smart phone app
- Works with manager to determine if planograms need to be adjusted for sell through efficiency
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Drivers License.
- Experience: One year operating a refrigerated van or equivalent vehicle experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with residents and other partners required
- Ability to find locations using current technology and travel independently
- Strong organization, multi-tasking skills, communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to place orders through an app on a smart phone
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
