Fireside Pizza is looking for prep/line cooks! Our preferred candidate will be able to work at least one weekend day, have previous food experience (pizza experience preferred but not necessary) and the desire to learn new things.
We offer flexible scheduling, shift meals, shift beer, opportunities for fully-compensated industry related training and certifications (Serv Safe, Cicerone, etc.) no uniforms, no nametags, no holidays, no late nights, no 15 hour double shifts. We are a 100% independently owned and operated company that runs like an independently owned and operated company. No corporate bullshit here. We listen to the music we like and we serve food that we are proud of. If you are interested, we are happy to cross-train people to work at the bar as well. (One of our current full-time bartenders started in the kitchen.) We are a small team; owner, kitchen manager, bar manager, chef, and only nine others.
You will work with a kitchen manager and chef who have many years of experience. You will have input on operations and menu items (nearly all of our employees have placed an item on the food or cocktail specialty menus.) You will work in a friendly and welcoming workspace. And finally, you will be proud to work for one of the best pizza joints in the region.
