Piccolo Wine Room has an immediate opening for a Line Cook to assist with our new food delivery system. We have partnered with an outside chef to prepare food - (it is created off-site and then delivered) - with our kitchen providing the finishing touches. Position is Wednesday – Saturday 3:30 – 10:00 pm.
Duties:
Preparing and executing the menu to the Chef’s vision and instructions.
Attention to detail in preparation of food.
Weighing portions to ensure correct amount.
Temping burgers (medium) and other meats
Proper food handling techniques in accordance with ServSafe. Certification not required – but encouraged.
Maintain appropriate dating and labeling and rotation of all food items.
Multi-tasking a requirement.
Must possess a great positive attitude and energy, be self sufficient and detail oriented.
Ability to manage time wisely – clean as you go work ethic
Motivated to work quickly and efficiently.
Must possess integrity.
