Overview

Fork in the Road Food Truck is looking for an energetic, passionate Line Cook to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who loves scratch-made, gourmet street food and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Whether you have solid kitchen experience or you’re currently in culinary school, you’ll work directly under a chef with 30+ years of professional experience — and have the opportunity to learn, grow, and sharpen your skills in a dynamic setting.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and cook made-from-scratch menu items to exact recipes and standards.

Assist in creating and testing new menu items and specials.

Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Operate food truck equipment with care (griddle, fryer, prep equipment, etc.).

Help keep the food truck kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Work together with the team to ensure fast, friendly service during events and busy service times.

Contribute to inventory management and supply ordering as needed.

Accommodate dietary modifications when requested.

What We’re Looking For:

Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred (food truck experience a plus, but not required!).

Students currently enrolled in culinary programs are highly encouraged to apply.

Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques.

Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive attitude.

Dependability, professionalism, and a team-first mentality.

Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedule availability (most shifts are daytime and early evening).
