Breadsmith is an artisan bakery in the Hyde Park Square. We make fresh bread and sweets daily.
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED
Here is what we are looking for-
Retail Job includes (but not limited to):
- Processing customer transactions (cash register, slicing/bagging products, handling customer orders)
- Opening/closing the store (icing products in the morning, brewing coffee, sweeping and mopping at end of day, etc.)
- Generalized cleaning (as needed, usually requested by management, done during downtime)
- Dishes (cleaning pans, utensils, ect.)
- Prepping for markets (bagging sweets for sale at farmer's markets)
- Scooping (with a disher) products for future production
- Answering customer phone calls
- Labeling bags for wholesale
Shift can begin as early as 5 am and run as late as 6 pm. Shifts are typically 5-8 hours. Weekend availability is required.
(Occasional requests for a weekend off are okay)
Must be at least 18 years old.
Pay: $13-$14 an hour based on experience (paid every 2 weeks) + tips (paid monthly) and free bread every shift!
Plenty of room for raises if you show good effort.
