Day time prep cook position available at Northside Yacht Club. We're a rock n roll club/bar turned post pandemic restaurant in the progressive Northside neighborhood.
Looking for someone with minimum kitchen experience (Knife Skills, Line Knowledge., etc.). Basic understanding of a busy kitchen environment. Dedication to maintain safety and sanitation standards, easy to work with and get along with. We are looking for someone 3 days a week. Friday, Saturday, Sunday for morning prep. (9-5) so weekends are a must, however initial training will be on weekdays. Starting pay 14 an hour for the first few weeks. Paid training. Prep has its own kitchen on the second floor so ability to carry things like boxes of potatoes, up to 50lbs, is a must. Pay is bi-weekly. We offer a shift meal every time you work. Employee discount offered as well. Anyone that becomes full-time is offered health insurance, vision, and dental. For this position we are looking for someone who is self motivated with an ability to understand and maintain pars. Strong communication skills are a must.
