Breadsmith is an artisan bakery in the Hyde Park Square. We make fresh bread and sweets daily.
Here is what we are looking for-
Retail Job includes (but not limited to):
- Processing customer transactions (cash register, slicing/bagging products, handling customer orders)
- Opening/closing the store (icing products in the morning, brewing coffee, sweeping and mopping at end of day, etc.)
- Generalized cleaning (as needed, usually requested by management, done during downtime)
- Dishes (cleaning pans, utensils, ect.)
- Prepping for markets (bagging sweets for sale at farmer's markets)
- Scooping (with a disher) products for future production
Delivery Job includes (but not limited to):
-Slicing and packaging bread for delivery
-Loading and unloading delivery van
-Delivering to various businesses
-Tracking returns at some locations
-Communicating with customers and management about any issues/changes
The store is open 7am-4pm Saturdays, and 8am-2 pm Sundays. Retail shifts start/end within an hour of each side of that window.
Delivery shifts start at 5 am (occasionally earlier) and typically last 6-8 hours.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay: $13 an hour (paid every 2 weeks) + tips (paid monthly) and free bread every shift!
