Position Overview
SumPoint Recovery is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day organizational operations, provide clinical and peer workforce supervision, strengthen administrative processes, and support the development and implementation of agency-wide policies and procedures.
This role is essential to stabilizing our infrastructure as we continue to grow—overseeing peers, clinicians, SUD counselors, caseload management, documentation standards, and overall workflow consistency.
Full-time salary starting at $50,000 annually based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Supervision & Workforce Oversight
Provide weekly and ongoing supervision to peer support specialists, Clinical staff, including clinicians and SUD counselors
Monitor documentation quality, timeliness, compliance, and note accuracy.
Ensure all staff have a clear, structured caseload list and defined service expectations.
Review charts, service plans, assessment quality, and ensure compliance with OhioMHAS requirements.
Support new staff onboarding, training, and competency development.
2. Operational & Administrative Management
Oversee the daily operations of the agency, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
Develop, update, and implement policies and procedures across housing, peer support, and clinical operations.
Assist in shaping a fully functional organizational structure for long-term growth.
Establish systems to bring clarity, structure, and accountability to all roles.
3. Caseload & Billing Productivity
Although primarily a supervisory and operational role, billable service delivery is required to support payroll justification.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining 20 billable hours per week, which may include:
Clinical supervision (billable when applicable)
Individual counseling
Group counseling (3–4 weekly groups)
Small clinical caseload
Other billable clinical or peer-related services as appropriate
Ensuring all clinical and peer staff meet their own billable expectations.
4. Business Infrastructure Development
Assist in “cleaning up” and reorganizing current caseloads, records, and service assignments.
Create structure that supports a large client base, multiple peer workers, and multi-site operations.
Help formalize internal workflows, forms, systems, and operational efficiency.
Serve as a right-hand operational support to the Executive Director.
Schedule & Work Expectations
Minimum of 4 days per week in the office
At least 8 hours per in-office workday (approx. 32–35 hours in-office weekly)
Flexibility for one remote day for documentation, supervision notes, or administrative work
Availability for communication on days off as needed for operational continuity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong operational, administrative, and supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to write and implement policies and procedures
Experience with housing programs and clinical/behavioral health operations preferred
Excellent time management, organization, and industry knowledge
Ability to stabilize and structure a rapidly scaling agency environment
Dependable, organized, and capable of managing multiple moving parts across programs
Leadership style that supports accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
