Essential duties/responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues

Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disputes

Experience with 401k audit and administration

Company representative for unemployment hearings

Assistsin formulating, recommending, and writing HR policies andobjectives.

Travels to all locations to evaluate HR functions, turnover, management practices, employee relations, and make recommendations for improvement; provides on-site training

Identifieslegal issues and government regulations at locations; monitors company exposure.

Determinestraining needs and implements proper programs withinregionalarea.

Assistsandadvisesmanagement on all HR issues.

Assistswith succession planning strategies.

Supervises and directs HR staff and workflow including payroll, benefits, FMLA, COBRA, generalHR functions.

Acts as HR contact on HR issues throughout regional area and all levels of the organization.

All other duties as assigned.
