Job Summary:
The Shipping Associate- Receiving is responsible for verifying accuracy of inbound freight. This role requires a motivated and organized individual who can manage daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Scan items into a WMS software
- Prepares items for shipment
- Work in a safe and professional manner to reduce risks to self and fellow employees.
- Comply with all federal, state, local, and company regulations
- Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job
- Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum age of 18 years of age
- Command of the English language with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read shipping labels and follow loading instructions
- Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending, reaching, and lifting above and below waist level will be required for 8-10hrs per shift
- Heavy lifting may be required - up to 50lbs or team lift required
