Position Summary: Crescent is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role ensures our facilities and equipment are well-maintained to meet performance and safety standards. Duties include routine and preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and supporting snow and ice removal during inclement weather. Excellent time management and task prioritization are key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment
Handle basic repairs and oversee contractors for professional repairs
Diagnose and fix mechanical issues, ensuring safety standards (e.g., Lock Out Tag Out)
Maintain 5S standards in work areas and assist with equipment assembly
Support snow and ice removal as needed
Update and maintain the Maintenance Request program
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to use hand and power tools, and read blueprints/manuals
Strong communication skills (oral & written)
Self-driven with a focus on time management and task prioritization
Preferred: 6+ months of similar experience or relevant education
