CMR Outdoor Living is a well-known, respected family owned and operated company, providing design/build outdoor living features to enhanceresidential/commercial properties. We specialize inPremium Composite Decks,Maintenance Free Pergolas and Patio Covers as well as Sunrooms and Screen Rooms. We travel all over the tri-state area.
We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and willing to work outdoors. Previous construction experience is a plus. This person will assist in our warehouse, product deliveries, general work orders, light mechanics, grounds keeping, etc. Candidate will arrive at our shop on a daily basis and take direction from the company owner.
JOB DUTIES (include but are not limited to):
Arrive to work on time and demonstrate consistent solid time management
Conduct yourself in a professional work manner with coworkers and customers
Load and unload product deliveries
Handle minor customer work orders with direction
Light mechanic work on company vehicles, tools, etc.
Show willingness to learn and progress in skill set growth
General grounds keeping - mowing, weed eating, etc.
Must learn and consistently demonstrate CMR’s core values
Follow the company Handbook and other policies/procedures of the company
Display motivation and self-starter attributes
Demonstrate proficient and safe usage of construction tools, hand tools and company equipment and company property
Be open to and apply constructive criticism for professional growth
Maintain effective working relationship and open communication with supervisor and other co-workers
Responsible to utilize on-the-job training to gain specialized skills required to successfully perform within the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safety Focused and exhibits quality workmanship
- Good communication skills
- Positive Attitude with a willingness to learn
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to/from work
- Must have a smart phone with texting and GPS capabilities
- Be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Must know how to back a trailer and drive a forklift
WORKING CONDITIONS:
involves perform physically demanding manual work
Must work outdoors in all weather conditions
May use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
PAY DETAILS:
- This is an Hourly Position
- Pay rate is $18.00
