State St, Trenton, OHSchedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and SaturdayShifts: Morning Kennel: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (Weekends and closed office days only) Evening Kennel: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm About Us:Trenton Animal Hospital in Trenton, OH is dedicated to providing compassionate care for pets. We are seeking a part-time Kennel Staff Member to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working, with a passion for animals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the veterinary field while seeking part-time employment.Responsibilities: Clean kennels, cages, and public areas, following proper procedures to ensure a sterile environment Keep the Doctor informed of animals' behavior, health, or concerns Maintain records of kennel materials running low and report to the Office Manager Clean surgical laundry and stock kennel laundry throughout the clinic Walk, feed, water, and administer medication to boarded animals Attend to house animals, including walking, feeding, watering, and medication administration as necessary Wash dishes used by animals the previous day Sweep and mop clinic floors Take out trash and recycling Clean up general messes around the clinic Perform any other tasks assigned by Management Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle animals of various sizes Excellent communication skills Prior experience in animal care or veterinary services is preferred but not required How to Apply:If you are passionate about animal care and seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity, please submit your resume.
