Qualifications
Minimum 2 years commercial experience a plus.
Files designed and prepared for offset printing application.
KNOWLEDGE OF OFFSET PRINTING PROCESS IS KEY.
Strong grasp of file manipulation, layout, color, typography, and use of graphic elements.
Packaging experience weighs heavily on candidate choice.
FULLY MAC BASED ENVIRONMENT - NO PC
Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite etc.
Current portfolio available for review.
Professional, mature approach to work.
Job Description
The designer will work alone and with others creating packaging and original content for a board game, playing card, jigsaw puzzle manufacturer produced on in-house offset lithography printing equipment. Knowledge of pre-press is a great plus. Experience and the ability to create print files is a winner.
Primarily - this is a graphic design/production role the media is offset lithography.
