Roto-Disc, Inc., a leading manufacturer of process valves, diverters and airlock solutions for the bulk solids handling industry, is looking to fill a new role that focuses on quality control and order fulfillment.
Specific Duties:
Receive, inspect and document vendor supplied proprietary and non-proprietary parts per established company procedures
Perform quality control checks on completed assemblies and sub-assemblies per established company procedures
Perform close-out tasks related to completion of assemblies and subassemblies
Package and arrange shipment of parts orders via parcel delivery carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
Arrange shipping of assembly and sub-assembly orders via common/LTL carriers
Maintain calibration of company’s various measurement tools
Manage and/or perform various facility maintenance procedures per established schedule
Work with company President and staff to improve product quality, customer-oriented documentation (User’s Guides), order fulfillment and warehouse management processes and procedures, including development and maintenance of bespoke measurement tools
Assist Production Manager in the assembly of company products and/or building of crates when necessary
Other duties as assigned or as may become necessary

Operate Forklift
Frequent use of hand-tools and small machine tools
Regular lifting and manipulation of parts and assemblies, some heavy
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and vendors
Professional demeanor, friendly personality and can-do attitude
Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have direct experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a Quality Assurance role. Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), common measurement tools (calipers, depth gauges, etc…) and the use of powered and unpowered hand tools is also a must. Experience with Quickbooks and/or shipping & receiving is a plus.
Pay-rate is negotiable. 20-40 hours per week. Some flexibility with regard to daily schedule. This position is not exempt from overtime-pay as per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
