We are seeking a Part-Time One on One “Wrap Worker”
We are looking for candidates who have a clear understanding of adolescent development and hands-on independent living skills training experience. Qualified candidates will interact easily with others, have a pleasant personality, and have excellent follow-through abilities. Additionally, the appropriate candidate will be a positive role model with great morals, integrity and character. We need candidates with patience, initiative, strong communication skills and with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience working with young adults 16-23 years of age. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creating an environment of achievement by guiding our youth in the development of day to day life skills;
Providing weekly independent living life skill trainings;
Dispensing medication as needed;
Developing positive relationships with clientele;
Building relationships with staff, case workers, families and volunteers;
Model a healthy and responsible lifestyle by providing discipline, organization, and compassion;
To provide transportation to assist client with washing clothes, grocery shopping going to the library, medical
appointments and etc. when needed;
Assist with meal preparation if/or when needed;
And providing mentorship;
Benefits:
$12.00 to $15.00/hr as an independent contractor;
