Foundation & Structure Repair Group is a family owned and operated construction company that covers the tri-state area with our office located in Aurora. We specialize in foundation repairs, structural repairs, and retaining walls. We offer masonry repair services, basement waterproofing and drainage solutions. Our projects are both residential and commercial.
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for creating financial reports, spreadsheets and will have daily administrative tasks.The Assistant Controller will work closely with the owners, office manager, and accounting team.
Primary responsibilities and skills will include:
-Prepare monthly financial reports
-Assist with year-end reporting
-Create balance sheets per projects
-Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
-Use your analytical skills to review work and consult with owners
-Ensures that accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the company.
-Monitor inventory levels and costs
-Maintain and update records or files
-Adaptability & strategic thinking: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business environments, identify strategic opportunities for meaningful margin improvement
-Proficient in GSuite or Google Workshop- Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets,and Slides
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Have personal ownership, high attention to detail, passion, accountability, minimize complexity where possible and require minimal guidance.
