I have an Ebay store with about 5000 listings, but I have way more stuff than I can list by myself. Looking for someone who has either experience with creating listings, product photography, or both. We've built a fairly simple system for processing items like an assembly line.
Creating Listings: Our products are mostly vintage electronics and auto parts that range from $5 to $500. Sometimes I don't even know what things are unless I do some searchingso I need someone who is willing to also think critically and not just do data entry. This can be a work from home position.
Ideally I would send you a link to a google drive with photos and a few notes, and you would create a listing with a simple description and pricing based on previous sales comparisons. Wage starts at $20/hr and we can go up from there if things go well.
Photography - In January 2025 I will have a small studio set up in our Amelia warehouse with lighting, etc, where someone can set their own hours and come and go within reason. It may be 5-10hrs per week to start, but there is potential for more.
It's pretty basic work - lightly clean a piece if needed, arrange it, take 5-10 photos, weigh and tag it, place in a bin. 10+ items/hr. Some smalls go much faster. You just have to be able to use a simple digital camera and look for details on the item like part numbers or hidden damage/wear. I will usually pre-inspect stuff and leave notes as needed.
If you're someone who can do both, you'd be welcome to come in to take photos and complete the rest of the work from home.
I tried this as a WFH position a couple years ago and it just doesn't work as straight data entrywe ended up doing almost as much work to do photos and build the spreadsheet as it would take to create the listings. I need someone who can be more hands on.
If you are interested, please message and I can send some sample photos of the items we sell so you can get a feel for it.
Thanks for reading this.
