Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced HVAC/Sheetmetal Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and possess the ability to build and maintain high-quality installations. This role requires a hands-on individual with mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, using specialized tools and equipment, such as an Ohmmeter.
- Utilize welding and boil-down techniques to fabricate and install components as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete large-scale projects and ensure a high level of quality.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, with a focus on building HVAC systems in a commercial setting
- A strong understanding of mechanical principles and their application to HVAC systems.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other members of the crew.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to build and maintain high-quality HVAC installations.
- Experience with refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in welding and boil-down techniques.
- Familiarity with HVAC system components and their functions.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.
OSHA 10 certification may be required for certain projects.
Candidates must have their own tools and PPE for the trade, along with reliable transportation. This is a W2 position with weekly pay. Hourly pay is based on experience and skill set.
