The residents (homeless population) are present in the buildings that we maintain.
We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our team and help maintain our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other related duties. The successful candidate will also be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently. Position requires being on call at least every 3 weeks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Painting.
. Repair drywall.
. Light electrical and plumbing repairs.
. Perform basic HVAC maintenance and repairs.
. Must be able to use a mobile app and have basic computer skills.
. Basic flooring repairs.
. Maintain clean, safe and secure work areas.
. Assist with training of new and current employees as needed.
. May read and build from plans.
. Respond to work orders and request needed supplies.
. May respond to night and weekend emergency calls.
. May supervise volunteers working on facilities projects.
. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Must have valid driver's license and be able to be covered on company auto insurance.
Pay is based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience
