Service Technician – YESCO Sign & Lighting

Position Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining illuminated signs, exterior/interior lighting, and related electrical components for our commercial clients. This role combines electrical troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and customer service to deliver YESCO’s high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair illuminated signs (LED, neon, fluorescent, etc.) and lighting systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on signage and lighting
Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues safely and efficiently
Operate service trucks, lifts, and other tools required for elevated or outdoor work
Accurately complete work orders, time logs, and safety documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch, service managers, and customers
Follow all company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and traffic laws
Represent YESCO professionally on every job site
Qualifications
Required:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in electrical, lighting, or sign repair (1–3 years preferred)
Ability to work at heights using ladders, bucket trucks, or lifts
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred:
Electrical certification or journeyman license
CDL license or willingness to obtain one
Experience with LED conversions or sign installation
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and work from elevated positions
Comfortable with repetitive motion and outdoor work
