Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Job Description:
Perform repairs and maintenance on, diesel and/or gasoline trucks including Tractors, STR Box Trucks, and other vehicles.
Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repair of engines, chassis, driveline, body components, hydraulic systems, brake systems, electrical & AC systems, wheels, and tires.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work order paperwork
Preventative Maintenance
Oil changes
Air/hydraulic brakes
Suspensions
Transmissions
Clutch replacements
General Maintenance
Requirements Qualified Candidates For Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:
Must have valid CDL or be CDL eligible.
Must have HS diploma, GED or Trade School and 2 yrs of related truck or heavy equipment maintenance; OR If you do not have HS diploma or GED, need 3 years of related truck or heavy equipment experience.
Tools
Must pass DOT drug test, Criminal BG, and DMV check.
Preferred
Mechanics l or trade certificate
Certificate in electronic diagnostics
Any ASE certificates.
Brake & Annual Inspection certificate.
Working Conditions:
Large organized shop, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs.
