We are accepting applications for an experienced Truckload Dispatcher to join our team. You will manage schedules and routes for 15 – 20 drivers with the goal of maximizing performance metrics and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage / Monitor driver schedules and routes
- Communicate clearly with customers, drivers and other office personnel
- Coordinate local pickups and deliveries with our “city” operation
- Resolve shipment / driver issues as they arise
- Prioritize and manage telephone calls and emails
- Collect shipment details from drivers
Requirements / Qualifications
- Multi-task and prioritize in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Act with composure and professionalism
- General geographical knowledge of Ohio and surrounding areas.
- Minimum of 1 year of Truckload dispatching experience
- Basic experience with data entry and MS Outlook email
- Excellent phone skills
- Monday – Friday 6:30am – 4:00pm
Compensation / Benefits
- $52,000 - $62,400 Salary depending on qualifications
