A Cleveland west-side suburb accounting firm is seeking to hire a team player to prepare customer payrolls as a service delivered to its client base. The candidate would also be responsible for assisting with answering phones, some light accounting work, preparation of payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns.
The position is part-time for the months of May through December with weekly hours totaling approximately twenty hours per week. The position would expand to full-time during the tax season months of January through April.
The rate of hourly pay, retirement benefits, vacation and holiday pay would be based on part-time hours.
The candidate’s experience and familiarity with payroll data entry and payroll tax preparation would be a definite plus. We will train a qualified candidate.
The job requires the candidate to work in the firm’s office and is not designed to be a remote position.
