Description:
We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electrical/electronic technician to join our Motion Technology Center (MTC) test lab team. MTC is an advanced development group that focuses on motor control power electronics, servo motor driven pumps, control software and hydraulic systems. The technician's responsibilities include test rig set-up, diagnosing and repairing electronics, reading manuals, and installing new equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting with training, recruitment, and various electrical and electronic upgrades.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should demonstrate a strong combination of electrical and mechanical skills. A successful candidate should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and electronic components and systems
Required Skills:
Experience testing electrical equipment
Hands on experience troubleshooting hydraulics equipment
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Servo motor pumps
Elecrical work with voltages over 120VAC
DC bus power supplies
AutoCAD
Field bus
PLC troubleshooting / programming
Nice to Have Experience (not required)
Light programming experience
Associates or higher in Engineering/Mechanical fields of studies
