Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot framework.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Implement best practices for API development, including versioning, documentation, and security.
Optimize API performance and scalability through efficient coding practices and architectural decisions.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions and proactive recommendations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in API development and microservices architecture.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an API Developer or similar role, with expertise in Spring Boot microservices development.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
Experience with RESTful API design principles, including JSON/XML data formats, HTTP methods, and authentication mechanisms.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
