POSITION SUMMARY
Flexjet, a leading provider of fractional private jet ownership and leasing, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Global Marketing Department as the Front-End Web Developer. This person will not just write code, but bring Flexjet’s sophisticated brand ethos to life digitally. They will have a broad and versatile coding skill set and can develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications. They should be able to take prototypes and ideas developed by Studio One, the internal creative services team, and efficiently build those ideas into reality. This position will work collaboratively with the IT department as well as serve sister brands within the Directional Aviation family of companies.

Flexjet offers an array of private jets - some of the youngest in the fractional jet industry. Flexjet’s clients include corporations and Ultra-High Net worth individuals. Red Label by Flexjet is a key differentiator for the company that offers flight crews dedicated to a single aircraft and over 40 different interior designs under the LXi Cabin Collection of interiors.

• Work closely with graphic design, product marketers and other internal stakeholders to scope, create wireframes and mockups, and develop requirements for web experiences.
• Develop, implement and test front-end web code. Perform quality assurance to ensure web experiences operate according to scope.
• Create and optimize our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
• Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.

• Write code and implement graphics, effects, animations, functions, and features to the website as supplied by the marketing department.

• Make changes to site pages as needed.
• Express ideas and opinions and addresses challenges and feedback constructively.

• Identify and offer strategic thinking as to when appropriate to deliver MVPs versus when further development is necessary
• Ability to write code in a high-paced and challenging environment with an emphasis on using best practices to develop high quality software that meets project requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Stay up on trends for website development changes.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline preferred; or an Associate's Degree in marketing or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience in front end web development with hand coding experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery) and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap). Experience in WordPress required. Comfort with headless CMS such as Prismic preferred

• Full Stack capabilities preferred
• Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices. You are a problem solver with everything you develop to improve our site’s experience and drive action.

• Developer has experience developing front-ends that run on mobile or tablet devices
• Extensive experience crafting front-end technologies towards an SEO strategy.

• Experience in projects designed to drive demand and convert website visitors to leads.
• Ability to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, fanatical attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Has a passion for marketing and can incorporate B2B digital marketing best practices and marketing technology expertise into their development projects.
• Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change and opportunity to help Flexjet look at things differently
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives.
• Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team while still advocating a clear creative vision.

• 5% travel is expected

• Must work from our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH. This position is 30% work from home.
