The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at the unit. The director manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities. They will manage the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management. Managing a safe and efficient working environment is essential to the performance of the business.What You'll Do

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and medical regulations at all locations.

Oversee technical development activities and scheduling.

Establish and manage budgets, setting productivity targets, and controlling expenditures within project and department budget limits.

Ensure the maintenance and safe operation of physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utility systems, and grounds at all times.

Maintain a constant state of readiness for TJC, EOC, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness inspections, including preparation and documentation.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Assist in gathering information and preparing files for State Health Inspections.

Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop and implement plans for the growth and vision of the Medical Center facilities.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 5 years of management experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

At least 5 years of functional experience in facilities management (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation), food services (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending), CTM, or Clinical Nutrition.

Proven ability to manage teams and effectively oversee daily operations.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to optimize processes and maintain efficiency.
