IT Support Technician

Description We are offering an opportunity for an IT Support Technician based in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is part of the tech industry and focuses on ensuring the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. It is a contract to hire employment opportunity that requires a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Overseeing the creation, maintenance, and deployment of images for various types of computers and operating systems. Supervising the imaging and physical cleaning of all equipment including workstations, notebooks, printers, and other tech devices. Handling the regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all technology devices used within offices and conference rooms. Ensuring hardware and systems availability by investigating user problems promptly and providing effective solutions. Providing support for a variety of audiovisual equipment in classrooms and providing tech support for user questions on the use of various operating systems and software. Maintaining and organizing documentation related to the technology on campus. Undertaking other tasks and duties as assigned by the Technology Supervisor or Director of Technology. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT support role Proficiency in Computer Hardware Knowledge of Dell Technologies Familiarity with IBM technologies Experience with Linux Technologies Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Mac Computers Experience with AB Testing Knowledge of Active Directory Experience with Apple Devices Familiarity with Backup Technologies Ability to perform Cable Installation tasks Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team setting Willingness to keep up with the latest technology trends and developments A relevant degree in IT or related field would be advantageous.
