Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Cleveland, OH.Duties Include:
Senior Security Engineer will perform real-time monitoring of security alerts and incidents
Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
Conduct threat hunting to proactively identify and respond to potential security threats
Review and analyze security logs and alerts from various sources to identify patterns and anomalies
Continuously improve incident response and threat detection processes
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will leverage Threat Intelligence to enrich Security Tools
Maintain and enhance security tools and systems
Assist in the assessment and selection of security technologies and solutions
Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience
5-7 years of IT experience
2-4 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on Incident Response (IR), Security Operations Center (SOC), or security log analysis
Proficiency with security monitoring tools and technologies
Cybersecurity or Information Security certifications would be helpful
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
