We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.ResponsibilitiesThe Automated Disbursing System (ADS) was designed in COBOL to automate manual disbursing and accounting pay related functions in several departments within DFAS Cleveland.The current automated procedures replace manual use of NAVCOMPT 2277's, most NAVCOMPT 3055 payrolls and various miscellaneous transactions of disbursement and collection.Entitlement pay systems generate payment data that is sent to ADS.Examples of entitlement pay systems are Adoption Pay, Active Duty Pay (DJMS-AC), Reserve Pay (DJMS-RC), Retired Casualty Pay System (RCPS), Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), Vendor Pay (STARS One Pay), Navy Shipyards, Annuity Pay System (APS) and the Integrated Automated Travel System (IATS).For manual input of miscellaneous payments and collections, operating/entitlement departments throughout the DFAS-CL network access ADS using online transaction-identifier RAVC.Support shall be focused on the following tasks; program and unit test system modifications, participate in all levels of system testing, attend analysis and design meetings, document system processes, and train team on processes and programming techniques.QualificationsRequires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.Must hold current/active DoD Public TrustSkills Required
