Hotel Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complete all tasks listed below in a timely manner.
2. Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture sweep, and mop floors
3. Change linens and towels and replace toiletries
4. Collaborate with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule
5. Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart at the end of your shift.
6. Report any issues that require maintenance
7. Must have reliable transportation.
Head Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:
As a head housekeeper, your job duties are train and supervise cleaning staff, prepare schedules and assign duties to staff, maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies, do laundry and while laundry is being cleaned along with the houseman/person inspect rooms and common areas to make sure they are clean, meet the standards of the hotel, and report to hotel management about your team's work.
Houseman Duties and Responsibilities:
Hotel housemen carry out a series of cleaning functions when a guest leaves the hotel, such as strip rooms for housekeepers and bring all linins to the laundry room. Assisting the head housekeeper with inspecting rooms and touching up bed sheets and any thing housekeeping may have missed to keep the room looking good for the use of another guest. Maintaining common areas to insure that the property has no trash or debris
Prior hotel cleaning experience is a plus but not required. The position works the AM/day shift, including weekends. Weekend and AM/day shift availability required.
